Al Khalisa, “the chosen", the emir's citadel. Arabic and Norman roots, crossroad of populations and trade goods. Its behaviour is blending : the peaches’ warmth and the spicy freshness of elemi and, still, the decisive enhancing note of black pepper. Khalisa is the balance of the opposites , it is east and west. The cardamom, warm and spicy, raises the stakes on the clean fizzy notes of tangerine. The transparent and sensual facets of the Bulgarian rose, blend into the balsamic purity of fenugreek: sweet, rich and intense. The Cypriol, woody and deep, persists in a balsamic effusion releasing cidrus scents and combines to the honey sweet fragrance of osmanthus . Within the quivers of this journey, the myrrh, balsamic and spicy, together with the woody melange of oud, tonka bean, sandalwood and musk, delights the senses.
